and commitment to duty,
supervisors, peers and
subordinates has been
consistent throughout the
member’s career.
The following citation with the Assistant Deputy Wardens/Deputy Wardens Association's Dominick Sciano Award conferred on Deputy Warden William Diaz is taken from the Medal Day 2011 booklet.
Dominick Sciano Award
DW Diaz has more than 14 years of experience in management and supervisory positions
within DOC, including assignments as a Deputy Warden at E.M.T.C.. G.R.V.C.. N.I.C. and
O.B.C.C. Within the five different facilities where he has served as Deputy Warden. DW Diaz
has been assigned to each discipline: Programs, Security. Operations and Administration.
He is currently is the Deputy Warden of Administration at E.M.T.C.
