With help from the NY State Commission of Correction and its staff, NYCHS is able here to present text and images of the 28-page booklet containing Regulations for Management of County Jails, issued by SCOC in 1936 and revised in 1944, a forerunner to its current Minimum Standards for County Jails and Penitentiaries.
