"Heading SOD as Assistant Chief, I watch K-9 staff search CIFM inmates as they go to Mess Hall for evening meal. In DOC for this type of search, we used the type of narcotic dog that upon detecting a drug scent on an individual will sit and face that inmate or visitor, thereby alerting the officer/handler."
