The red letter "E" marks the vicinity of the island's former administration building.

To the left of the red letter "F" is the brick-and-slate Catholic Chapel, built in the early 1930s to replace the by-then deteriorated wooden Chapel of the Sacred Heart constructed in the late 19th Century.

Veteran current and former NYC DOC staffers and others who can correct, refine, enhance and increase the information in the close-up image caption above are invited to do so. Include the close-up's virtual tour image number in your e-mail to the webmaster@correctionhistory.org
