1920s Rikers Landfill Operations -- Scene #11: Close-up B (Near Left Section)

Scene 11's Close-up B (near left section) shows what appear to be empty rail cars stacked, one atop the other. Letters spelling "Wilson" can be seen on the side of one. The letters after that are only partial but their visible parts are consistent with the word "English." Wilson & English Construction Company, 50 Church Street, Manhattan -- whose contracted projects included industrial railroad building -- was quite prominent in the NYC during the first half of 20th Century.
