| For more than a century the children of staff assigned to residency on Hart spent many of their early years growing up on New York City's Isle of the Unclaimed Dead. Far from finding the experience horrific, those were happy times as recalled by three women for whom NYCHS arranged -- through NYC DOC good offices -- a Going-Home-to-Hart visit.
